About Us
In 1999, Ron Mueller set out to discover -- for his own use -- what tax deductions would be available to him once he established a home-based business. Finding that information turned out to be a very challenging task.
After months of “uphill battles” he began discovering that there were lots of tax deductions Congress had made available specifically to home-business owners, that the deductions were worth thousands of dollars, and that the qualification requirements were straightforward.
When Ron started sharing with friends and colleagues what he was learning, they encouraged him to make the information available to all Americans who were active in running small and home-based businesses. So he spent the next six months translating the legalese, government-ese and IRS-ese into plain English, so the average person could easily understand the information and immediately put it to use.
As he approached completion of his research and writing, Ron said it all boiled down to this: “It's How Much you KEEP, That Counts! Not how much you Make,” which became the title of his now-famous book.
Nearly a decade later, that single book (now in its 4th edition) has grown into a full array of home-business tax-savings products and services, all made available though Ron Mueller's web site, www.HomeBusinessTaxSavings.com.
“It's How Much you KEEP, That Counts! Not how much you Make” has been reviewed by one of the top tax attorneys in the U.S., as well as buy the IRS itself. Neither of them requested, or even recommended, a single change, attesting to the book's accuracy and to its position as THE authoritative guide to home-business tax law.
Today Ron Mueller's business is still based in his own home, although his own home is now a modest sized yacht, appropriately named “Home Office,” in Southern California's San Diego Bay.
